Oh, dammit, jeez, I'm flattered and all, I really am, but these "hearts" kind of drive me nuts
wondering where they came from.

OK, you leave me no other option, whoever you are, except to make a donation so I can baffle other DUers about the source of their heartitudinousness. (Yeah, I know that's not a word. But it should be.)

I hope you're happy with yourself. I know DU will be.

Can anyone help me understand how much money is collected in these drives?
Where does the money go?
This is a great site but how much does it cost to maintain?
Why do I have to ask this? Why not disclose this information?
I have contributed in the past, but I am increasingly wary of undisclosed charities.
