Where is it?

Although I found bicycling through a tunnel to be not near as much fun as I thought it would be. The big one on Elroy-Sparta is too dark so you have to walk. The pavement is rough, and the roof leaks.

39. It's the New River State Park in southwestern Virginia

The photo was taken about 10 miles from the parking lot in Galax on the way to Fries Junction. There's enough light as long as anyone in front of you doesn't slow down and cause you to rear end them.

If you're ever near it I highly recommend it: 58 miles of scenic bike/horse trails.

the color is called- my hair is too dark for ash blonde so my hair is orange, oops, I mean strawberry blonde, but it's so expensive to go to a salon and have them take all the color out of your hair and probably not good for it anyway.

this is the natural color of my hair (and this pix is from decades ago...DECADES. :/ - and it's even messed up...water on it, who knows.

but since I don't want to look like Paulie Walnuts,

I put a lighter color on my hair. now I look like Paulie Walnuts with orange hair!

department stores or Target-like stores don't give gifts. Small shops will usually give you something free, especially if you purchase a few items. They really like you if you are a repeat customer -- if they recognize you that is, and I'm pretty easy to recognize here! At the market, the old women like to give me extra fruit or vegetables free when I buy stuff.

I had to have one for a class - it took about 15 tries to get one that didn't look totally stupid. How do you photogenic people do it?
