Brad Paisley-Ticks
I wanted to know what DUers thought about the latest Brad Paisley song "Ticks". I like most of the song, but I am not that much of a fan of the "I want to check you for ticks" part. Just in case some people have not heard the song I tired to post one of the youtube videos.

1. I like Brad Paisley
and of course he's a West Virginia boy, which automatically gives him a lot of my loyalty, but I'm not crazy about "Ticks". I liked his other songs much better--including that "Online" song, which has one of the funniest videos I've ever seen. :hi:

3. Not a big fan of male country artists.
But that boy plays a mean Tele.

Respect.

8. He's been on the cover of Guitar Player magazine, what, three times now?
That boy can play the hell out of a guitar. Much talent.

4. Saw that on the Grammys last night
I'm not a country fan, but it's a funny line. A little crude, but funny. And it's a catchy tune.

6. Paisley is an authentic artist (unlike many "country" performers)
but this song sucks.

I'm a fan both of country music and Brad Paisley, but this one is over the faux toothless hillbilly line.

It made plenty of money though.

7. Oh, it was the song from last night's show?
I had no idea what it was about; I don't listen to much of the dang ol' dang ol' lyrics of cowboy music.

I thought the distorted guitar was refreshing, and a welcome change from the same old country twang.
