Its official: I can't take the cold
I will NEVER EVER move farther north than where I am now (Maryland). This morning I went out and it was 9 degrees with a -5 windchill. I keep hearing about Minnesota and other places having below zero temp and like -30 degree windchill.
I literally cannot wrap my mind around that. I had a hard enough time this morning. And even later when I got to work around 11am and it had warmed into the upper 20's I still ran like hell from the garage to my building.
I'm a winter wuss. I have NO idea why people actually want to live in cold places.
I hate winter.:scared:<----(me this morning)

1. I am a wuss also
I worked from home today (I feel a little guilty about it, but screw it) because I could not deal with the extreme cold and wind. I am in New Jersey.

:scared: < - - - - Me, shaking with you . . . .

2. When I left my house in Annapolis this morning
it was 17. Even my Siberian Husky is staying indoors. As for the greyhounds and whippets - forget it. They won't move off the sofas or from under the blankets.

4. Like I said this weekend,
if I could bottle up some of the beautiful weather we're having here in Phoenix right now I'd send it to all of you in the cold weather areas. :hi:

It's 75 outside right now. Nice!

10. PFFT!
I actually do better in heat and humidity than a lot of people I know.
So did you wear your flip flops and shorts today (I used to know guys in college who did that). You strike me as being that brainde..er bold.:P

6. My dad use to tell me that the world gets colder as you get older.
I never intended to stay in northern Illinois (current temperature 6.3F.) But the longer you linger someplace the deeper the roots grow, and at some point family and long time friends become more important than climate. So I will probably die here.

Regards, Mugu

8. But the sub-zero stuff doesn't last very long
I'd rather have a few days of that than months of hot, humid, sticky days.

Sticking to Michigan...:)
