I'm listening to rain outside and the trains go by...
Edited on Sun Feb-17-08 10:32 AM by lizziegrace
It's Sunday morning and I don't want to do anything. But tomorrow another week of work starts and I've got to get some things done.

Gracie's doing the panic dance because the food dish must be only 2/3 full. She believes I'm trying to kill her. She's such a dramatic little princess...

Someone talk me into it doing the laundry and dishes and everything else that needs to be done?

:(

on edit:

(that doesn't mean kill Gracie...)

2. Morning, Lizzie!
Just sitting here with the rain and the wind blowing cold. Brrrrrr! I have loads of stuff I need to do and still trying to talk myself into getting up and do it, too. But the morning is cold and the music is hot, so I think I'll wait a little while longer.

I'm not much help, am I? }(

:hi:

4. It's cold and wet (and very dark) outside and I've got a warm kitty who just jumped
on my lap, purring like mad. It's going to be hard to motivate myself to anything at all, so I'm probably not much help to you.

5. I must have done 8 loads of laundry yesterday
Edited on Sun Feb-17-08 10:51 AM by MissMillie
it felt AWESOME to see the bottom of the hampers.

(there was so much because we got soaking wet trying to clear the slush out of the driveway on Wednesday and it's a sheet week)

9. It's pouring here
And my driveway is a sheet of ice; the freezing rain from last night has turned into regular rain but it's just puddling on top of the ice and not melting it. I just went out and tried to break it up to shovel; no dice.

I just left a message asking SO to pick up about 50 lbs of pavement deicer. If I can't get it cleared it's going to be a rough morning tomorrow as it's supposed to refreeze tonight. Yuck.

So, I'm stuck inside for the day but I have plenty to do including tons of laundry. My brother was here for four days so there are extra sheets and towels too. Yay. Snuggling in the chair with my heating pad, down throw, tea, and a good book sounds far preferable.

11. Rain and the sound of sirens here
It's ghastly out. We're right at 34 degrees and the freezing rain on top of the snow and ice is making for lots of slipperiness as well as flooding. Roads are awful, sidewalks even worse. This is supposed to turn to snow in a couple hours and I figure there's a good chance schools may be closed tomorrow. Lizzie, I say screw the dishes and the laundry. Make yourself a hot drink and curl up with Gracie. Today's a good day for that.

I logged back on. I got stood up...

I'm joining a convent. Or finding a society where women have more say and control in relationships. This waiting to be asked out is crap. (and yes, it's a generational thing. I'm going to be 47 soon. I'm not used to or good at asking men out...)

gawd I'm in a bad mood today.

Maybe I'm just finding my inner bitch and can begin walking all over people. It seems to be what works...

Or not. Damn. x(

15. So, it's raining, ergo cold and wet.
Therefore, doing laundry will provide you with a pile of warm clothes. :D
