we just got another statutory holiday in our province. Guess the long stretch between New Year's Day and Easter was too long to go without a long weekend, so here we have it!

1. It's called Family Day here in Saskatchewan.

I had ancestors in Batoche way back in 1885,during the rebellion. Some day I will have to learn more of the story.
