Thank you fer letnme be mice elf again

Listening to the Oldies station this AM and discovered that Sly and the Family Stone were number in all the land on this date 27 February 1970. I was a sophomore in High School just a few months from getting my driver's license. Then I could cruise town in my chick magnet metallic blue 51 Chevy Pickup complete with 8-track and not one but two speakers. Sadly that old truck is gone but it should be a shrine since my girlfriend and I invented oral sex in it one summer night at a drive in movie in North Arkansas long before anyone ever heard of Bill Clinton.

My memories are oldy and muldy and musty but damn they are good.

It was the middle of summer and it wasn't cold. In fact it was pretty freaking hot inside the truck.

but Thank you was number one on the hit parade on this day in history. I appreciate the suggestion (Nobel Piece Prize?) but I just get great satisfaction knowing how much I have done for man and woman kind. Its very humbling.
