I am sick, sick sick of the snow
seriously.... enough is enough already.

I love New England, but I'm tired of shoveling every weekend!

1. Join a very large club! Isn't this amazing? Two storms a week.
I now have about 3 feet here. Old timers in this part of the world can't recall a winter like this one. I suppose it will make us appreciate Spring all the more, MissMillie, if it ever comes! Next month you can look forward to mud season and then after that the black flies. Why do we stay in this part of the world!

3. seriously, I love New England
I can't imagine living anywhere else.

And I can remember a winter back in the early to mid 90s where the total accumulation for the year was over 100 inches (and I'm sure we haven't come close to that yet). That year, I think there were a couple of weeks where I slept on the sofa at work and used the laundry in the student dorms to keep myself in clean clothes.

But I'm still sick of the snow this year. And the cold.

2. Same thing here in SE Michigan.
I feel like I have to shovel every two or three days for the last three months. Winter really started out hard in the month of November. It is now March 1st and I have about five inches of snow on the ground. I turned in my Dodge Magnum rear wheel drive in December and bought a Jeep Commander so driving is no longer a problem. The Jeep goes through anything so I am not nervous about snowy city driving. I am dying to see my hyacinths and crocus peeking their little heads out of the ground!! I think I should go buy myself a bouquet of flowers today to soothe my seasonal affective disorder.

4. Yes! The lack of sunshine is another problem. I've never had a problem with that
until this winter.

5. eh, I figure it makes great insulation and cuts down on the heat bill
the only way I can look at it in a good way. I have to go out to work tonight in this crap.
