Some things.
There is a big wad of yellow abc gum stuck to the side of a pillar in the hallway of the Pharmacy School at my college. It has been there for eleven days. Between that and the half-ply toilet paper they stock the bathrooms with at school, I'm not sure where my university fee dollars are going.

I zoned out for ten minutes of the lecture in my Linguistics class, because I was contemplating the implications of selective hyphenation in the phrases "stupid-ass fucker," and "stupid ass-fucker."

I sideswiped the garage doorway with my car. Don't tell Mr. LaraMN.

I let SophieMN choose my hairstyle this morning, so I went around all day with pigtails.

:-)

1. Impressive...
you tried to sneak the sideswiping of the garage with the car in among trivialities.

Nice try. Your ass is toast. Just put a bumper sticker over the huge gash in the car, you'll be fine.

Or, if you're like MrsCoffee, park the car with the huge gash side facing away from the house for three days, hoping that he won't go for a drive in it and immediately notice the huge gash.

3. There's no gash, just a big white streak on my red car
(and a red streak on my white garage door frame.)

I'm going to try to convince my husband that he did it and he just doesn't remember because of his "stroke brain."

That's not evil; he uses it as an excuse all the time. Why shouldn't I milk it, too?

:P

11. Did you not see the big building?
Did it sneak up on you somehow?

16. I was backing out and it was just THERE!
They don't make garage doors wide enough- not even double-wide doors like mine.

4. It happened faster than that.
There could be no pause for hyphenation.

10. I was hoping to save it up until he screwed up something else
even more significant; like if he dropped a kid or something.

18. Yep! Some people call that "manipulative" or "conniving".
I call it a "life-enhancing strategy."

by dropping your own spawn.

I like your posts. They remind me of my best friend from high school who lives in France now... she writes in a similarly delightful way. :D

I'm planning Jack's birthday party. He turns five on Friday. He's getting training pants for his birthday. (And some toys. I'm not COMPLETELY mean.)

How are you doing?

13. Sergio turns 3 on the 18th...
...I just dropped 300 bones on party favors, decoration, etc. It will be a Curious George kind of birthday. Plus, we're renting one of those inflatable castles. Since I won't be here next year, I want this one to be big.

20. Sergi's party sounds fun!
Jack's will be decidedly more lame, as I have to produce an observance of parallel splendor precisely three weeks later, for NoelMN.

I am sick of birthdays, already.

...so Sergio and Vega get to have their father live vicariously through them. I really am sad, aren't I? :eyes:

22. My husband freaked out because I bought the kids "Twister,"
(the game) and I told him I'd never played it in my life; he thought that was inconceivable.

On a side note: that game will seriously fuck up your back- especially if you feel you *need* to beat your nine-year-old at it...
