I have always loved this. Do you remember "DuPree's Diamond News"? One of their editions had an article on why this was the best Grateful Dead show ever...

Oh yeah I remember them. The editor, John Dwork, is now a friend of mine. he is big in the String Cheese scene and has the best production company Peak Experience. They do some fantastic shows with audience participation, fire dancers etc.
But best show ever? Nah. 5-8-77 is usually the #1 mentioned.I gotta agree, it is smoking from start to finish....."take a step back and yet another step back...."
