I have $20 to spend at the grocery store tonight.
Here's what I need: tp paper towels cat litter milk 1 bell pepper 1 cucumber 1 tomato I'm actually worried that $20 won't cover it. This sucks....

And I use two different kinds! Clumping and regular. I figure $12 at least just for the litter.

3. You're going to have to use a lesser brand of tp,
get a single roll if you can. Cat litter may cost the most.

8. A single roll of Scott will last forever.
Almost as long as a four pack of other brands.

4. how long does that have to last? Buy a small bag of cheap litter for now if a necessity
skip the milk for now (or buy a half gallon), and you should be fine for now. How much longer til payday?

You know what? I'm thinking the spoiled monster, I mean princess, that normally gets the clumping (ie expensive) is going to have to suck it up and use regular. I haven't had milk in 3 days-I'm going through w/ drawls.

5. Yeah you're going to have to go cheap on the tp, paper towels and
kitty litter. Just get what you can to last as a stop gap until you can roll with the better stuff.

I guess I could use water in my dinner recipe. But man! How shitty is it when milk becomes a sort of luxury item?!

17. If you get the following
it should only use about half of your $20: Small bag of Tidy Cat litter: $3.50 Small 4-roll pack of Angel Soft TP: $1.35 Bounty Basic or generic paper towels: $1.00 or less Half a gallon of milk: $1.80 Bell pepper: $1.00 (less if you buy green pepper) Cucumber: $.79 Tomato: $1.00 I padded the cost of most items just a tad and it still comes to around $10 or so. You'll be fine. I hate Scott toilet tissue. We got a free pack and only keep it around for emergencies. It's the worst! :hi:

19. Target brand clumping cat litter is $4.00
Edited on Wed Mar-19-08 05:50 PM by Shakespeare
You can probably get everything at Target except the vegetables for under $10 (just in case you have a Target and a supermarket close to each other).
