5. I'm up in my office you douchebag.
But, there is a whole lotta noise going on down there.

TM - shopping. :eyes:

BoyMidlo - at the gym.

BabyMidlo - at Heith's Ice Cream emporium with her friends.

Mr. - On his way to Dallas

Me - in my office, attempting to get something done, but the mess is too distracting.

Dogs - asleep in the family room.

This doesn't bode well for my safety.

16. Whenever we hear strange noises downstairs
we just figure it's the ghost that lives in the dining room.

The dryer repairman was here today, :eyes: and the puppy about licked him to death. Good thing he wasn't a serial killer.

8. Funny story.
On Saturday, I was finishing up the Easter Basket guck, and BabyMidlo was talking to me in the kitchen about the Bunny.

Me: - You DO know that there is no such thing, right?

Her: - Yup.

Me: And, the same goes for the ToothFairy, et al. Including Santa?

Her: - Yup. I've known since third grade.

(Bear in mind that this is the same child who told me that if two American Girls was too expensive for Christmas, that 'you can get me one, mom and Santa can get me the other)

So. I decided not to put out the baskets, but instead to tell her that the Easter Bunny was upset that she didn't believe and didn't leave anything.

The little bugger went looking for them; found them stashed in the back of my van and put them out. AND, she put EXTRA candy in the baskets that was earmarked for a party for the special ed kids.

She kills me. Best mental health of anyone I know.

13. OMG Midlo - that is too funny!
Little MB was so obsessed about the easter bunny that she said to the ER doc on Sat. morning "Umm, Dr. Eric. If I am still here tomorrow, will you make sure the easter bunny knows which room I am in?"

She still believes in all of it - this is probably the last year, but I'd like to think I can buy another year.

That BabyMidlo sure has your number

15. Oh, she sure does.
She knows I stash things in the back of my van, especially treats so that BoyMidlo doesn't eat them all.

How is Little MB feeling today? Poor little thing.

17. That little rat is feeling just fine now....
:banghead: Darn her for scaring me like that!

She spent most of yesterday milking the ER experience - just wait until my mom arrives tomorrow from the Dominican Republic. MaltaMom knows nothing yet, and I can promise you that Little MB will milk it like nobody's business with her "Nanny".

Thankfully, she only had the fever recur once after the ER visit, and the antibiotics seem to have knocked out whatever she got.

18. Scary, scary shit, though.
Nothing like seeing your child seriously ill or really hurting to drive a stake through a mom's heart.

6. Do you have a skunk or a squirrel?
They are noisy.

But they've never been in my house. Sometimes I hear squirrels under the sun porch.

21. Too bad I'm not there.
I'd go down with my chest thrown out and make them sorry, if they are intruders. I have this tendency to change my appearance to that of a whacked out crazy woman with cold beady eyes when I go on the offensive. There are people who claim the look in my eyes is downright scary even to the baddest of the bad.

Sorry I didn't come up with something better. I feel horrible today. I think it's allergies.
