Yesterday's weather

Here in central Massachusetts, yesterday was a balmy 60 degrees, and as the temperatures went down again today, I realized something. Yesterday's weather was indeed, for all intents and purposes, Mother Nature's April Fools Day joke on all of us. It was her telling us that in no uncertain terms winter was going to hang around a while longer, and there was no longer going to be anything called "spring" again. It would simply go from 40 degrees to 80 degrees overnight, and there was nothing we could do about it.

I hate the cold. I hate the heat. Could sure use the temperatures we used to have when "spring" and "autumn" were around.
