The best damn blogger on the face of the planet has died

Ashley Morris (that's H. Ashley Morris, Ph.D.; he was a male, dammit!) was to the New Orleans blogosphere pretty much what Khephra was to DU. He died yesterday -- in Florida, not even in his beloved New Orleans. (Ashley was a computer science professor -- at DePaul. Yes, DePaul is in Chicago. No, it has not opened a New Orleans campus. He commuted. That's the kind of bedrock New Orleanian he was.)

2. He had been on sabbatical this past year
