I ran the Chesebro Half Marathon!

It's a mostly trail race with a really steep climb between miles 6 and 8.5. My time: 2:30:53, 11:32 pace, 930th place! Woo-hoo, I can haz champeenship!

3. Nicely done!

:thumbsup: I'm doing one on the 20th of this month- Cadiz to San Fernando. It won't be anything like yours since this course is very, very flat. The only thing that could be an issue is the wind, which this time of year can get quite strong.

Stream hopping, rocky paths, steep hill climbs. I'm glad I wore my trail shoes during the trail portion, but they weren't cushioned enough for the pavement.

Are you talking Cadiz past Barstow all the way to San Fernando in the corner of the SFV? Good Lord, how far IS that? That's clear across the state!

On edit: I checked your info...you're in Spain. Whew! I know you do ultras but 226 MILES across the Mojave Desert? I don't think so!

11. Adidas Adizero XT trail shoes

The course was part road, mostly trail, so I went with the trail shoes. Hard on the pavement, not as much cushioning as my road shoes, so more fatiguing on the legs. Very nice on the trail, good traction and lightweight.
