Any other "Andy Griffith Show" fans out there? God, I love that series.

I listen to the tv re-runs on my radio in the morning when I can't sleep.

I think Andy and "Thelma Lou" are the only two still alive, and Ron Howard, the "young 'un", of course.

Why can't life really be like that?

I think he was a comic genius. So unusual! I love the way he talks about peoples' hair, in a weird, sensual way.

I don't know if he was really that way, or the most genius actor ever.

In fact, the other day, I cooked fried chicken, and I got the recipe from my Aunt Bee cookbook!

I'm sorry, I've just always wanted to say that to someone, and it's pretty obvious you're the person to say it to. :D

I used to have this overwhelming desire to live in Mayberry. I pictured myself going down to Floyd's barbershop and getting a cut, hanging out with the boys, talking about all the gossip that was too dirty to be revealed on the show. When Barney isn't around, we all wonder aloud how he ever landed a girl like Thelma Lou.
