One man and his dog,Went to mow a meadow"... I'm asking this because when I was about 12 I had my first English lessons at school(I'm French-Canadian)and the teacher kept playing that song again and again (I wonder what was the point once we had translated it once in French)and most peoples of my generation over here in Quebec remember that song and also the infamous "Kick the ball Sue!". My question is:did you have to listen to that in English class? And the reason I'm posting this is simple: I had that silly song playing over and over in my head for about an hour!(I think you call it an Earworm). But I don't worry, soon the Beatles will be back as usual and replace "One man went to mow" as an Earworm. :) BTW what is your most common "Earworm" ?
