1. I'm not sure how to answer that ...
I don't think I ever "set myself up" for disappointment. But more like I prepare myself for the worst, and hope for the best.

5. i try not too, in my own experience i've been disappointed many times
so now and i hate to say it because i know it sounds so cynical but i live by "Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed" and hope for the best but always prepare for the worst...ie, what you figure then end result is going to be anyhow.
