Quod erat plantum
Everything I wanted to get planted in my garden before I left town is now planted:

Potatoes
Red onions
Radishes
2 varieties of Romaine lettuce
Spinach
35 tomato plants
Cauliflower
Broccoli
Brussels Sprouts
Romanesco Broccoli
Peas
Pole Beans
Fava Beans
Soybeans
Okra
2 varieties of Corn
Zucchini
Cucumbers
Yellow Squash
Green Onions
Pumpkins
Strawberries
Cilantro
Dill
Chives
Savory
French Sorrel
Chervil
Basil
Parsley

Garden is 10x40, and there's containers for the herbs and the strawberries. Potatoes are in straw-filled cages.

I'm tired.

2. Not as ambitious, just a little plot
20-23 tomato plants (volunteers from the compost keep sprouting)
peas
broccoli
carrots
Brussels sprouts
dill
basil
green onions
red onions
garlic
cucumbers
peppers

Last year I basically had just tomatoes but we got flooding so they went belly up about halfway through. Thought I'd expand the crop this year! I'd love to have the space for all you've got growing! Enjoy the trip. KS

6. As it turns out, there's a cold snap coming
I don't think it's going to frost, but I hope I am not too early. Glad I held all my peppers back.

7. You definitely had a
productive day. And nice selection of veggies/herbs!

This will be my first year w/o a garden. I think I'm going to miss it!

But then, there's always the Farmer's Market.
