I thought Helena Bonham Carter rocked it too. Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd movie was so much better then past stage productions that there isn't even any comparison.Much more graphic and intense.
2. I was impressed as hell when I found out Johnny Depp did his own
singing. Granted there were some moments where his voice was weak, but there were others that were damed impressive. I've often wondered if the order in which it was taped had a bearing on the difference in the quality of his vocals, or if he concentrated so much on the parts he knew would be more difficult that he tended to worry less about the less difficult parts and it came through in the final taping.
