11. I've never really gotten into speed so much,
and muscle cars never did a thing for me, but I had a BSA back in the 70's and it was a blast. If I was bored, I could just hop on the bike and kill a whole afternoon. It's just such a pleasure to aimlessly ride motorcycle on a nice day. I see you're down in Texas, so you'll have many more days than I'd have in the Northeast.

Choppers are "interesting", but I don't think there's a bike that's as handsome and beautiful as a stock Harley. Such a classic look. I think they're works of art. My envy is turning a deep midnight green as I write this.

Can you get one, someday, you think? :hi:

26. I'll see. I'm doing some checking right now.
I'm pretty sure I can get several thousand for a kidney, and a lot of people get along just fine with one eye.

I'm hoping next summer. After I get better.

If it makes you feel better, Ptah, I have no intention of riding on the highway(s)....well, not for a very long time anyway! :hi:

I rode bicycles a lot when I was young, but it's not quite the same. The cycling skills I learned early in life did help with balance, reflexes, and the habit of seeing dangers ahead, though! I realized that in the 3-day course. :hi:

20. I'm a big-time cyclist, but I have NO desire to ride a motor cycle
isn't that funny?

They seem even riskier....but my road cycling can certainly be considered "risky", too.

Oh well.

That's cool you took a course. Good for you and have fun!

30. Congratulations.
Hope you're somewhere where your protective gear won't cook you alive.

My state (Florida) isn't good motorcycle country. You can either wear jeans and a T-shirt and risk getting torn apart by the road in an accident, or wear leathers...and risk dropping dead of heatstroke.

37. I don't mind you asking..
Because my husband and I both bought new ones, we got $900. off.

After all was said and done, mine ended up being right at $7.000.

And, yes, you need a class M license in Texas.. and probably most states. :hi:
