Even if they are remakes recorded for the commercial. So far this year, Target and Hampton Inn are dead to me.

I just didn't want you boycotting this without knowing why. I actually agree with you. Especially since Michael Jackson is probably the one getting the royalties off the songs.

9. It's been my experience that the customers are the ones who insist on the most awful stuff
Like a used-car dealership that forced me (very much against my will) to put three frogs on lillypads across the top of their ad, saying: "Gas" "Save" "Urrr" I'm going to hell for even participating in that one.

You're in the ad biz, no doubt. True, it happens at both ends. I've worked with writers whose first words upon getting a new assignment were "what song can we use?" Pathetic.
