Fun thread! Thanks!

1972 Ford LTD - hand-me-down from my dad - ours had a white top. This car was so big, it had separate ashtrays for the driver and passenger, because if the ashtray had bneen located in the middle, neither occupant could reach it!

1977 Ford LTD - hand-me-down from spouse's dad. Ours was a rust/burnt orange - barely fit in the garage!

1991 Buick Skylark - first "new" car we bought (used, but not from a relative)

1996 Nissan Altima - still drive this

1987 Dodge Dakota - LOVE this, sold to a friend, so we still get to see it around. :) Ours was black & gray.

1999 Isuzu Oasis - just rolled and totalled this in January - very sad!

2004 Honda Odyssey - current family vehicle

3. Yeah...how the time flies!
I wanted to include the cars my family had when I was a kid, but I couldn't find good photos.

1960s old blue station wagon - no idea the make/model
1960-something Dodge Dart
1970-something Plymouth Volare wagon (with fake wood panels!)
1970s Dodge Aspen wagon (almost identical to above)
1980s El Camino (I don't have a photo of this, but I think the DEA does - I drove it in college...shhh...don't tell my dad)

LOL! Good times! :)

6. Well, here goes:
1. 1986 Ford Escort

Mine was gray, and didn't work very well. Inherited it from my sister. Wouldn't go more than 20 miles without the engine flooding, so my parents broke down and bought me the....

2. 1994 Dodge Shadow

Hunter green, two doors (like the picture, but without the spoiler). Best. Car. Ever. Loved it to death. Loved it until it was totaled on the expressway when it was sandwiched between two cars. Rarely gave me a problem, and took me everywhere I needed to go during my college years.

3. 1996 Plymouth Neon

Mine was white. Somewhat disfunctional at times, but all in all a decent enough car. Put a lot of miles on it. In the end the paint was peeling and the AC was busted, but it got me 129,000 miles so I'm not going to complain.

4. 2000 Mazda 626

The best looking car I ever had. Gold with leather interior. Unfortunately, its performance didn't match its looks, and by 56,000 miles the transmission was already busted. No longer under warranty but still making payments on it, I had no choice but to give it up.

5. 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer

Red. The first car I ever bought new. Didn't give me any major problems, other than it was pretty bare bones and didn't even have cruise control (which lead to my first two and only speeding tickets, because it had great pickup.) Unfortunately, after I got a raise, I started to explore getting something a little more upscale, which my wife magically was able to transform into her getting a new car and me being sattled with her old car, that being a.....

6. 2004 Toyota Corolla

Mine is silver and a "sport" edition, which means it has a spoiler on it. Whoop-de-doo. I'm not a big fan of it. It runs okay and gets good gas mileage. And it's paid off. And that's the only reason I am keeping it, because it is the most dull and uninspiring car ever. Eventually, one day I will unburden myself of it.
