I just figured out what's so familiar about Bush!
He sounds *exactly* like the crocs in "Pearls Before Swine"!

3. My wife gave me "The Crass Menagerie" for our anniversary
In it is the saddest cartoon ever written...the one where they find the roadkilled animal and believe it to be a gift from God--"he knows we have trouble catching food, so he gives us some that's already dead."

Third panel from end: "God must have big plans for us!"

Last panel, after the crocs have been killed by an oncoming truck and sent to hell: "This isn't the plan I had in mind."
