Well, I survived.
No children were harmed in the running of the birthday party.

We served them hot dogs, fruit, pasta salad and chips.
Then they played Airsoft, but didn't like it because it 'hurts', so we set up target practice.
Had face painting, tattoo making.
Did crafts.
Made S'mores.
My friend's husband set off fireworks over the lake.
Had cake.

Came home.

Collapsed.

3. Oh, yeah. My friend, in all her wisdom, offered her son
the one in the power wheelchair an 'airsoft' party as his choice. But, fortunately, they didn't like it, so we held target practice with cans.

Pretty hard for a pacifist like me to get behind.

The fireworks were the typical 'South of the Border' fare. A dad set them off and the kids loved them. Me, not so much.

Tube care wasn't that bad. I only had to clear it once.
