Early version of Damon Knight's story "To Serve Man" found.
You may have seen Damon Knight's story in it's Twilight Zone version. (It is one of the most beloved episodes.) Some scholars recently found an earlier version of the story. The climactic scene was slightly different:
Mr. Chambers...Mr. Chambers, the first page is just a collection of English words with their own translation. But the rest of the book...the rest of the book — It's an instructional manual on tennis!

I think the later version was probably better.
