they know not the proper grammar. He who learneth it properly shall make no mistake with his verb endings. Why hast thou used "-eth" improperly? :P

If you want a hilarious novel written in 18th century English.

Absolutely hilarious and by far Ms. Jong (excuse me, Dr. Jong's) best work.

She has a Ph.D. in 18th Century English lit from Columbia.
