I am no longer a man

for the second time I have hired someone to mow my lawn

Heavy rainfall, a running injury, and the recovery period from running my second marathon (Sunday) PLUS a 4 day long rain/storm coming in tomorrow have lead to this

Sad.

7. Whatever! I mowed the lawn all last summer!

Of course, now the mower is broken and I'm >thisclose< to trimming the lawn with the weed whip. Naturally, the weed whip will be broken in short order, as well. I've got three kids and a lot of scissors. I'm not worried.

It was supposed to snow last weekend but it didn't. I have an unhealthy degree of hatred for our local meteorlogist. I know she doesn't technically *cause* the weather, she just predicts it, but I've decided to forgo the distinction. I need to hate on SOMEONE for our crappy weather.

I an't gonna be winning any medals in a dress either

I am slow. Imagine BigFoot late for the bus-that's my running "style". My wife remarked that my walkign stride (I walk just like that famous BigFoot video) is longer than my running stride :shrug:

2 marathons down!
