The leads and solos get all the glory. Let's talk about the classic strums.

I say The Doobie Brothers "Long Train Runnin'"

1. Anything done by Malcolm Young
Most of "Highway to Hell" is lead, but the chorus strum is quite nice.

"Back In Black" is both Young bros, as is "Whole Lotta Rosie".

2. All Great choices
For something a little less crunchy, I offer:

Stealers Wheel "Stuck In The Middle With You"

Or how about ZZ Top "La Grange"

4. Malcolm Young is an amazing guitar player.
Angus gets all the glory, but I think Malcolm likes it that way. He seems happy to hang back, play rhythm, and let Angus have the spotlight.

7. Malcolm also gets my vote...
most of Angus's leads are kinda...uh...clunky...but Malcolm's work is always sublime

8. John Lennon, Lou Reed, and Tom Fogerty are all incredibly underrated rhythm players...
and as much as I hate the song (along with almost all of his work), Steve Miller's rhythm playing on "Keep On Rocking Me Baby" is quite nice

5. Billy Nershi is my all time favorite! (String Cheese Incident)
The only guy who manages to hang in the jam with an acoustic guitar. He is one of my favorite guitar pickers ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uY6ab5FkK3g
