Is there such a thing as an audio file hosting site?

Similar to photobucket, except that you could upload audio files from your computer, and then establish a link that could be shared with others via a message board post?

I've always been curious about this.

I'm probably going to bed soon...so if anyone responds, I thank you in advance. :hi:

2. Theoretically you can use YouTube to do this,

you record a "video" with a still-image(or a series of still images...like a slide show) as the video feed and the audio you're sharing as the audio feed.
