6. Did you ever see the BBC America commercial using that Python sketch?
It was ad for "Flying Circus." The sketch runs and near the end, the following appears on the screen:

"If your girlfriend is laughing at this, marry her."

I haven't had BBCA in like five years. :(



One of the local PBS stations used to run a promo for their Britcoms that included The Colonel saying, "The whole premise is silly and it's very badly written," from the "Army Protection Racket" bit in episode 8. :D
