11. The more resources at your disposal, the more you take them for granted
It probably doesn't even occur to these kids the severity in terms of cash, that they have inflicted on their parents.

4. people that use the word "envisage" in normal speech
and talk like an overgrown Valley Girl deserve it when this shit happens to them. "They could've just ripped off the mirror off the wall." This is a fucking gem!

8. Actually, the original party was with parent's permission, and they had provided security
The guest list for the girl's 18th birthday party was 100 people.

It got announced on BBC1, and then thousands descended on the house. Police were called, and they eventually got all the teens out of the house.

This is not an issue of "parents went away and kid had party".

9. p.s. - I"m not surprised Inside Edition would sensationalize it by saying "child threw a party"
:eyes:

12. Another article - there was even an inkling days ahead that something might go wrong.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/mar/17/news.socialnetworking

The event was already in danger of "spiralling out of control" in the last few days, said Ruscoe (the girl who had the party). She said she had got friends to spread rumours last week that the party had been postponed. "By the last day I felt physically ill with worry. I was dreading the night, but didn't expect it to turn out as bad as it did."
