Ever have a finger jammed by a basketball...
..and then pull your finger... to relieve pressure (in the jammed knuckle)?

Why is it some things seem to work better when we are younger?

Ouch!

4. I bet that did hurt!
My sore knuckle was from my motorcycle spill.... just got the brilliant idea, today, that pulling on my finger might relieve it.
:sarcasm:

19. I hope you got the right definitinon
I forget, Spanish terminology doesn't always translate to English latin-for-latin...

The meniscus, in Spanish, is the Lunula in English...

Sorry if I confused you...

15. I remember the first time I had to reduce a dislocated finger
It was a basketball player and he jammed it pretty badly and he was also sweating profusely...it took me 4 or 5 times of grabbing his finger only to have my hand slip off before I got enough traction...THEN I wised up wrapped it in a towel and POP it was back in.

These are lessons they don't teach you in school, I guess you have to figure them out with practice

18. No, but I did get my thumb hyperextended from one once...
somebody thought it would be a good idea to try and play soccer on the basketball field so he kicked the ball. Problem was I grabbed it right before his foot connected.

My thumb was purple for several days. And I had a violin lesson that afternoon.
