An Israeli doctor says:

'Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can
take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and
have him looking for work in six weeks.'

A German doctor says:

'That is nothing, we can take a lung out of one
person, put it in another, and have him looking for
work in four weeks'..

A Russian doctor says:

'In my country, medicine is so advanced that we can
take half a heart out of one person, put it in
another, and have them both looking for work in two
weeks.'

The Texas doctor , not to be out done, says:

'You guys are way behind, we recently took a man with
no brains out of Texas, put him in the White House for
eight years, and now half the country is looking for
work!'

but ya gotta laugh to keep from crying, ya know?

how are your dad and the other residents doing?

Dad is settled into another nursing home and seems to be none the worse for wear. The other residents likewise. The lady in critical condition hasn't been reported on and of course we aren't given any details when we ask, so we just have to hope for the best.

Dad went for an EEG and some other tests yesterday. We are waiting for the results of that, soon I hope.

He suffered a 'small' stroke a few weeks back, that's why we had him in the nursing home to start with :(
