Your Spanish Lesson For Today

My company holds its Christmas party the Saturday of the Lumberton Air Show. We're right there anyway, and it gives people something to do when they're not eating or drinking. We ordered a shitload of beer--thirty cases and two kegs--drank up both kegs and had most of the bottled beer left over. I was driving so couldn't drink, so I was presented with "beer for later"--two six-packs of Becks, two of Corona.

Your Spanish lesson for today:

When someone says
Corona, por favor

He really means
Excuse me, but this Milwaukee's Best is a truly fine beer and I don't deserve such luxury. Can you bring me something a lot worse?

3. We use lemons round these parts...

fruit in beer is fruit in beer. If you need to add fruit to your beer to make it taste good...you need a better beer. :beer:

Don't get me started on shandy.

Limes are for real bevvies.
