Good Morning
What's everybody doing this morning? I'm nursing a sore hand, making coffee, and waiting (per usual) for my husband to wake up!! :hi:

2. I'm making toast with loads of vegan margarine and watching the local TV weather station
It's strangely cold, considering it was freaking HOT all day yesterday.

Then I am going to do laundry before it gets above 90 again, and while the laundry room is empty. Then I am going to clean this shithole I call my house. Then I am going to go lay out by the pool all afternoon drinking. Man, I love being an adult with no kids. ;)

:hi:

4. I wish it was cold here...
It's already almost hot... and very muggy outside.

And, yes, being an adult with no children is wonderful!! :hi:

5. It's probably like 85 and humid outside ha ha
I just had my AC and fan on full blast all night, and it's overcast out, so stayed cool in here all night (mercifully). I won't venture out to see for a bit yet. I love doing nothing. It's awesome.

17. It was sooo hot and muggy...
Didn't wear my full protective gear (when riding) & then it started to sprinkle.

Naturally, the rain stopped just after we got home. *sigh*

10. I'm sitting here trying to decide if I want to go car shopping or just say to hell with it.
Researching online sucks, and finding something with decent gas mileage is a pain. I think I might just end up waiting a few more months. Then I need to work out all the food for tomorrow's bbq since Monday is going to be full of thunderstorms.

19. Well, I have a gas hog now, so I'm looking for something smaller and more effecient. Problem is I'm
not so sure that I'll be able to not be upside down if I trade the gas hog in. Wife isn't too keen on doing any dealing, so I guess I'm stuck with the gas hog for now. Maybe in a few months.

20. Good morning, KC2!
We had an excellent morning! One of the dogs took a blue ribbon at his trial this morning! :applause:

It is finally warm and sunny here and I'm headed out to do some much-needed weeding!

See you all later! :hi:

26. I'm writing an abstract to submit to an academic conference
Editing it now. Let's just hope they take into account the fact that I'm an Undergrad when they make their decision. :)

28. I'm not married to the idea of presenting at this conference, as
it simply means more work between now and December. With my Internship this summer and in the fall, 3 Econ classes in the fall, and my honors thesis (upon which this presentation would be based), my plate is pretty full. And that's just my academic life, don't even get me started on the family stuff.

30. I'm one of those people who fares better with too much to do, rather
than too little. I like to be ridiculously busy. It keeps me focused on the tasks at hand and on my overall goals. :)

And, this is my last academic task of the semester. Finals and papers are done! Internship begins on Weds., but I'm not worried about that. Looking forward to it, actually. :)

But, thanks
