6. Take it from somebody with curly hair.

You're better off without it. I've had the same hairstyle since I was five. There's nothing you can do with curly hair but wear it curly. If it's straight hair, you can curl it or leave it alone. The one time I tried to grow my hair long, it didn't show because it kept curling up on the bottom.

It's been the bane of my existence.

It's to the middle of my back and I can wear it up if I like. haven't been to a salon in years coz I can just trim it myself once in awhile. I really love the fact that I don't have to spend time in the morning drying and curling my hair. I just wash and condition it, put in a little hair gel and I'm done. Saves time and energy.

I have people telling me how jealous they are of my hair, literally every single day.

Sometimes I like it, but right now I'm in a "can't be bothered" mood with my hair, so I just went from middle of my back to damn near buzzed.
