2. not still, but i will be soon if it doesn't approve

my first move is to ask the firm that laid me off if there's any chance of being rehired; second move is to ask the recruiter who placed me how long before her commission is safe.

I truly hated my current job for the first 5-6 months I was there..now its not too bad...(I started last July)

I'm going to give it time. After time, I'm going to talk to the HR director. Then, if there's nothing can be done, i'll do the steps in my first reply. Meantime, I am looking for the irresistable possibility.

6. How about my new job, I don't get paid

I answer the phones, run parts, book keeping, take in customers, and do IT work. All for free. It's my Uncle's business that he is starting up. I wish I had money to invest, but i don't, so I invest my time.
