Poll question: What time do you go to bed on average?
Kind of a boring topic, perhaps, but I'm asking because of a discussion I was having earlier with someone. We were talking about the health aspects of not only getting more sleep, but better sleep, based possibly on not staying up late into the night no matter how many hours of sleep you get.

1. Ever since TiVo...
No need to stay up late anymore.

in the morning for any reason, so my nights have skewed a little toward 1:00 a.m. now. But I still manage to get about 7 or 8 hours regardless.

10. Lately, later than 1a.m.
I don't get home from work until 11:30 p.m. or later, and I can never go to sleep right away. I usually watch a movie or do some reading before I go to bed.

11. I SHOULD be asleep by 7:00 but that never happens
It's really bad if I'm not asleep by 10:00

I rarely make it past the first 15 minutes of Letterman.

I get up early.

16. After midnight, always
MG Jr. is a night owl like his mama; he goes to bed around 9:00, then I stay up late to do my freelance writing work, and then we both sleep late in the morning (get up around 8:00). I have no idea how we're both going to shift to an earlier schedule to get him to kindergarten on time in the fall. Going to have to start pretty soon, though.

17. Lately: 8-9am.
Work is from 5pm to 2am... I do schoolwork when I get home from work... and when I'm done it's about 4-5am... then my son gets up at 6:30 am and I have to get him to school. After this, then I might be able to go to bed... up again at 3pm.
