Fine with me. People who come to a political forum but who mimic the famous three monkeys should not be alarmed and distressed when they find out that events - of which they should have known had they kept their ears and eyes open - do not follow their wishful thinking.

Obama supporters are more attracted to ignore than any group I've ever witnessed, on any message board or any topic. Just an observation.

I used to describe ignore as wimpy but now it's meaningless. I don't use ignore but if others prefer it, that's swell.

Like years ago I used to engage in frantic back and forth posting in the same thread but then I stepped back and evaluated it. The sub threads look ridiculous. No one ever changes their mind and the heated disputes inevitably develop from them, more than any valued info.

Once on another site I remember being involved in a 100+ page thread with three of us arguing for months, myself on one side and the other two opposing me. We'd bump it by arguing/ridiculing every day. Finally the thread was locked and when I read it I couldn't believe we wasted so much time and energy, basically repeating the same lines of thought. Now I prefer to make one lengthy post, with more or less all I have to say, then sample another thread, here or on another site. If that's not acceptable, ignore me. Or don't. :)

One was TSd months ago. So technically I am down to three but I am ever hopeful that they join their chum soon. I have no doubts that I am on more than 4 of my fellow DUers ignore lists....That doesn't bother me...they must have thinner skin than I do. I sometimes think the whole lounge has me on ignore...I don't mind, I know it ain't so and I love peeking in here anyway, you guys know how to party!

I did once, yrs ago, and it got annoying but I am glad because now I don't have to stress over some whose only purpose here seems to be to push 1 agenda. Oh well.
