why did I fall asleep so early last night?
I was watching the Stanley Cup (not the actual cup, but one of the games in the series of games, the winning of which the cup will be awarded to the winning team of). I fell asleep in the second period, and was bothered all day that I didn't know the score. When I came home I read about it, and WTF?!?!? amazing crazy awesome game!! Now I feel like I should have made coffee at 1am, so I could have stayed up through the whole thing.... but then I wouldn't have gotten up on time and would have missed good things that happened today... you win some, you lose some, I guess.

1. Wings fan here...
I did stay up for the whole thing, only to feel like someone punched me in the gut when Detroit lost late in the 3rd OT. I almost fell asleep at work today, but luckily a lot of my co-workers had the same problem (including management). All the hockey fans (and around here, there are a lot) looked like zombies today. It really was an amazing crazy awesome game, as you noted, so I guess it was worth it. ;-)
