Jeez. First a tornado almost touches down last night and

now the news is announcing they're stealing gas from cars in one of the neighborhoods in my subdivision.

I fear the end of the world is upon us.

Fortunately, I park in the garage. TM's car has an inside latch and Mr. Midlo's isn't parked around here for much because he travels a lot.

5. The latch for the gascap does not matter.

Current MO for gasoline theft from cars is to...puncture the gas tank from beneath and then collect the gas. Yes, it seems very Darin Award-ish, but there ya go. I actually had this happen to me last year - I found it when there was a pool of gas under my car.
