Dang it, I've shrunk my Keds
x(

This didn't happen when I washed my "traditional" style Keds! I just bought a pair that kind of look like Chucks without the white toe. They got filthy, so like my old Keds, I threw 'em in the washer and the dryer. Now my toes are squished. Dammit. I've only had them a couple of weeks.

4. And I REEEAALLLYYYY needed a good liquid-through-the-nose laugh today!
MG Jr. has recovered from his stomach virus and is now being a pain in the butt, refusing to take a bath. (He truly is healed if he has enough strength to fight baths.) But Mr. MG is still suffering upstairs with pneumonia. So I've been a nursemaid and single mother for a week. Woo-fuckin'-hoo. They're lucky I haven't gone postal. Yet. There's still time, I'm sure!

5. Oh dear.
May your household get back to a "normal" routine soon. And may YOU, Mom, get the rest you need to avoid all the creeping crud.

6. Thanks! I've already had it
My mom had this particularly nasty strain of stomach virus on Memorial Day. I came down with it two days later, and MG Jr. came down with it two days after that. I recovered fastest of all--within 48 hours--just in time to catch Jr's "barsh" (as he's always called it) in the wastebasket. Over and over and over and...
:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

Must be a "mom" thing--there's some innate knowledge that our illnesses should not last very long because the house would fall down around our ears.
