Seriously - what is life like out there?

I have met some seriously crazy (in a good way) people from there. Is it like Iowa where the goofy ones escape? (Duck's Breath Mystery Theater - case in point)

David Letterman, Richard Bach and Jim Davis (Garfield) are all from Indiana. Say what you will about them - but you must admit they are at least goofy.

I "escaped" at age 9, but returned, family in tow, in 2002. WHAT was I thinking?! :crazy:

3. Me too. Lived in Evansville for 7 years, and liked it.
would probably still be living there if my husband could have found a decent job. We came to FW because he had family here and while visiting them, his sister in law arranged for a job interview with her employer and he was hired. So we have been here since 1989.

Had we not moved to Fort Worth we would have probably struggled along up there. Not a bad town to raise kids in.
