Oh dear, my little old cat seems to be losing a fang :-(

The past few months, he been favoring his mouth and I couldn't figure out why. Well, it seems as if his upper right fang is starting falling out. He's 15 years old and I'm aware that extensive dental work is risky because of his age, is there anything I can do to stop it? :-(

He disappeard for a few days, but came back.

He eats Ok now, does't seem to miss who upper teeth at all.

You have beautiful black cat.

3. My little one had to have seven teeth pulled. So far. Including a fang.

No problems. She is still my best eater, lol.

My vet said this is common for cats as they age, and especially so for the smaller kitties. He said he has some kitties who have lost all of their teeth and still do very well. Some of them, who preferred dry food before they lost their teeth, still prefer dry over wet. So don't worry.
