1. No but
my father in law always said never buy insurance from a company with 'state' or 'farm' in their name... if that is any help, but sounds like the advice may be too late for you.

5. awesome.
had two accidents in 20 years. both not my fault. (hit a deer; rear ended). everything was handled professionally. also, my rates never went up.

YMMV, but i highly recommend state farm.

their insured ran a red light and hit us as we were going thru a green light. Not sure what to expect, but so far SF has been extremely nice. Thank you for your input!

7. I have State Farm...
not sure how they treat people on the other end of the accident, but I've had 2 accidents (one my fault, one not my fault) and they took care of everything simply and painlessly.

I can also say that both of my insurance agents (in NE and CA) have been extremely nice to me, so I would hope they'd be nice to other people as well.

8. thanks, huskerlaw..
so far, so good, but it happened very recently and I've never been in a car accident before, so I really have no idea what to expect. :hi:

9. I do a lot of inter-company claims work.
State Farm is usually pretty easy to deal with. If I had to deal with Allstate all day, I'd go nuts.

10. thanks, GOPisEvil --

I've been impressed with SF, might even switch once this is over.

And I'll remember to avoid Allstate!
