My daughter and I are planning a trip to Egypt next March or April. Nine or ten days Cairo-Aswan incl. a Nile cruise and a side trip by plane to Abu Simbel.
We have our choice of tour companies but can't decide! It all boils down to which tour companies have the best reputation and best guides on the ground in Egypt. But personally I don't know anyone who's been to Egypt recently.
If you have any recommendations to pass along, I'd love to hear them. thanks!
We used Aberkrombie and Kent and went on the Oberoi Philae for the Nile cruise. Pricey but worth it. I have been to Egypt several times and studied about it all my life, so we went pretty much on our own for the other things. It is very easy to hire a private guide through any of the hotels.
