Sniffa and I are going to go blind...It's so dark in here
I don't want to turn on the lights...it's so hot. I suppose I'll have to at some point. Until then...I'll squint my way through. :)

I doubt the lightbulb will make much of a difference to the heat level.

2. Actually, it heats up quite a bit once the lights are on
One 150 watt, a 60, and a 40. The AC is straining after hours of 90+ temps...I don't dare. Ack! he just turned 2 on!! x(

to invest in some Compact Fluorescent Bulbs. They replace the incandescent ones you have now. They also save energy.

Also, window fans FTW. It may be hot outside... but if it's hot inside too, then the airflow can only help.

5. We don't have window fan friendly windows...
And, the air out there is 100x worse. We have fans in the bedroom, AC in the livingroom. :)
