8. I was too lazy to put the a/c in
We're going to an out-of-town wedding on Tuesday, so I figured it could wait until I got back. Bad move. There's no way I'm lugging the thing down a flight of stairs from the storage room a t my office, then hauling it to the 2nd floor of our multifamily.

Of course, this is supposed to break right about the time I land in Moline on Tuesday...

I positively THRIVE on sunshine and would die a very unhappy death without it. I live in Michigan and every cold, dark , horrible winter is an extreme challenge.

BRING ON THE SUN and the temperature be DAMNED, I say!

I lived in New Orleans for three years, and Arkansas for four. I absolutely detested the May-November stretch. Give me 42 degrees and drizzle any time!

I agree with you 100% - though I no longer live in MI. :P Here in WA I'm still using my HEAT. At over $4 for fuel oil I'd really rather NOT. I'm so tired of being cold. /whine
