Storm Watching---yes, more Kitten--- ***Dial up warning***
James and Kittimus P, watching a storm roll in.

Of course, I'm supposed to be working. Bleh... Blech, even.

8. The other two (dog, Jessie and elder cat, Merlin) have found nice
places to shake in while Kittimus P enjoys it.

9. I thought it was dorky at first...
but it has really grown on me. I'm glad she dropped the Stewart. I swear he even looks like a Kittimus.

5. I once had a cat . . .
named Hamlet. During his earlier years, I lived in a ninth-story apartment with large windows facing west. It gave him perfect views incoming storms, and he would sit on the window sill and watch as if he were watching TV. I miss that cat.

7. A friend of mine had a cat who liked to watch airplanes.
They lived in an apartment a few miles from the airport, and every time the cat heard an airplane taking off toward them he'd run to the window and watch it until it was out of sight. Very odd.

11. That would have been funny to see.
Kittimus enjoys television. He enjoys just about everything.

6. There's a line in a Lois-Ann Yamanaka novel
popular Hawai'i author and personal acquaintance, though I haven't seen her in far too long. :(

It's about how black cats are particularly good at taking away the sorrow. I think it's in her best-seller to date, Blu's Hanging. I'll see if I can scare that up this evening.

10. That's interesting...
My husband's family has always owned black cats. They are usually named Merlin. Only recently have we "branched out" to other names. I hope you get to see her soon.
